Product Description
High Carbon Silicon Alloy takes silicon-carbon dual effect as the core, breaking through the single functional limitations of traditional deoxidizers. In converter steelmaking, the steel slag formed by rapid deoxidation is easy to separate, and carbon elements are released at the same time to reduce the dependence on carburizers. The high calorific value (6.58kcal/g) provides heat energy in the furnace and reduces electricity consumption and fuel costs.
Steel smelting: High Carbon Silicon Alloy is mainly used as a deoxidizer in steel production, which can effectively remove oxygen impurities in molten steel and improve the quality of steel.
Alloy steel production: As an alloying element, adding high carbon silicon alloy can increase the hardness and strength of steel, and is suitable for the production of some high-strength alloy steels.
Foundry industry: High carbon silicon alloy is used as an alloying element in the casting process to improve the strength, hardness and wear resistance of cast iron, and is suitable for the manufacture of high-strength cast iron products.
