Product Description
Calcined Anthracite Coal can also be referred to as carburizer, jet coke, charge coke, or gas calcined anthracite. It is produced by calcining Taixi anthracite at a high temperature of 1240°C in a vertical shaft furnace. The product has the remarkable characteristics of low sulfur, low phosphorus, high mechanical strength, high density and high calorific value, and is widely used as a carbon additive in the steel industry. When calcined anthracite is added, the carbon content in the steel increases significantly, and the carbon elements contained in it can react chemically with oxygen, sulfur and phosphorus in the steel to optimize the mechanical properties of the steel.
As a reducing agent in ferroalloy smelting, the carbon reactivity is high, and the metal recovery rate is increased by 5%-8%; In chemical gas production, the pore structure optimizes the syngas yield; In civilian scenarios, smokeless and burn-resistant characteristics make it the main force in the promotion of clean coal. Its combustion temperature stability above 1600°C is more suitable for extreme process requirements such as aluminum processing and ceramic sintering.
