Ferro Phosphorus alloys are composed of two elements, iron and phosphorus. It has excellent physical and chemical properties such as high strength, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance. Ferro phosphorus is used in metallurgy as a phosphorus source for alloys, for the deoxidation of melts and the removal of unwanted compounds from slag.
Ferro Phosphorus alloys low melting point can accelerate the deoxidation reaction of molten steel, and realize the precise addition of phosphorus at the same time, which is used to improve the hardness and corrosion resistance of wear-resistant steel and weathering steel. It is the core additive in the production of special steel and iron castings to improve the fluidity of molten iron and reduce shrinkage defects in casting, which has the advantages of low cost and controllable composition.
