Calcined Petroleum Coke is characterized by its high carbon content, low volatile, low sulfur and low ash, high electrical and thermal conductivity, high strength and high density.
Calcined petroleum coke improves the fluidity of molten steel: During the steelmaking process, good fluidity of molten steel helps with uniform mixing of molten steel, floating removal of inclusions, and casting and molding. After certain components in calcined petroleum coke are dissolved in molten steel or participate in the reaction, they can affect the physical properties of molten steel such as surface tension, thereby improving the fluidity of molten steel, making the casting process smoother and reducing the occurrence of casting defects.
