Product Description
Ferro Silicon Alloy is a high-temperature reduction product with coke, steel scraps and quartz as raw materials, which is silver-gray, hard in texture, and has excellent deoxidation and desulfurization properties.
Ferrosilicon is often used as a deoxidizer in the steelmaking process,because silicon and oxygen are easily combined to form silica. This reaction not only effectively removes oxygen from the molten steel, but also releases a large amount of heat, which helps to increase the temperature of the molten steel. In addition, ferrosilicon can also be used as an alloying element additive, widely used in the production of low-alloy structural steel, spring steel, bearing steel, heat-resistant steel and electrical silicon steel. In the production of ferroalloys and in the chemical industry, ferrosilicon is also often used as a reducing agent.
