Product Description
Ferro Silicon Alloy appears as hard, gray-black or silver-gray lumps. It has excellent corrosion resistance and thermal stability. Composed mainly of silicon (typically 15%-90%) and iron, common grades include Si75 and Si72. Ferro silicon exhibits high electrical conductivity, strong resistance to oxidation at high temperatures, and is widely known for its strong deoxidizing capability in steelmaking.
Ferro Silicon Alloy is mainly used in the metallurgical industry for deoxidation and alloying of steelmaking, which can improve the quality of steel, reduce chromium oxide loss, and improve chromium recovery. In addition, ferrosilicon alloy has excellent magnetic properties, high permeability, high resistivity, low core loss, suitable for use in special environments, and can also be used as fuel to reduce energy costs.
